ORDERING PROCESS


1. Product Search

Some products are grouped on the main page of the online store. Complete product lists can be viewed in the categories. To do this, follow the links at the top of any page in the main navigation area. The main navigation bar with links to the various categories is highlighted with red dots at the bottom:

In some categories, not all products fit on one page. To scroll through the pages of a category, use the navigation pad. It is located at the bottom left, directly after the last line with product images. You can either click on a number and then go directly to the desired page, or select the square buttons (if available) on the left or right to load the previous or next page:

In the top right corner of every page you will find a text box for search queries. Here you can search for product numbers and product names. Enter your query in the search field with a length of at least three letters. Then click on the magnifying glass to the right of the search field or press the "Enter" key on your keyboard:

In a few moments a page will load with products that match your request. You don't need to know the exact name of the product or its number. We have compiled a list of synonyms and related words for each product and are constantly improving it. For example, if you want to find the wireless heating with an output of 2500 watts, but have forgotten the exact name, you can enter the word "wireless" in the search field and all products relating to wireless heating will be found on the search page. This will also include radiators with an output of 2500 watts. Try to use single word queries. Also, to improve the accuracy of your search, do not use terms that are too general. If you need a heater with 1500 watts, it doesn't make sense to search for "heater". It is best to search for "1500" or "1500 watts".



2. Put the goods in the shopping cart

If you find a product that you like and want to buy it, it must first be placed in the virtual shopping cart. When you hover over an image of a product in a category on the home page or on a search results page, an "Add to Cart" button appears:

If you have already called up the page with the product description, the button is to the right of the block with images or directly below it. Click this button. The page content will move up, where you will see a message on a green background that the product has been successfully added to the shopping cart. A number is displayed next to the shopping cart symbol, which shows the number of items in the shopping cart:

If you would like to order a product twice, simply click the "Add to cart" button again. There is also the possibility to increase the quantity of the ordered goods by clicking on the shopping cart and entering the new quantity of the article manually:

Then the "Update" button appears. Click on it and the number of items in the shopping cart will change:

If you are on a page with a product description, simply enter the quantity in the appropriate field before adding a product to the shopping cart:

After you have placed all the desired products in the shopping cart, you have to proceed to the checkout. To do this, click on the shopping cart image and then once again on the "Proceed to checkout" button:

An input form appears in which the required data fields are marked with red asterisks:

If you have already registered on our site, click on the word "Login" (usually in the upper right corner - depending on the screen resolution) and the data fields will automatically be filled with information from your account. If you do not want to register, you have to enter your personal data manually: e-mail address, first name, last name, street with house number, city, zip code, country and telephone number.

Attention, we only deliver within Germany:

If your country is not on the list, there is no point in placing an order as we may not be able to fulfill it. The fact is that each country has its own tax rates, according to which the prices of goods and shipping costs are calculated. Only the countries listed in the list are configured in our system.

If you cannot find your country in the list, simply interrupt the order before proceeding with the payment. If you choose to continue, there is a high likelihood that your order will be delayed and you will need to contact us to provide the correct details. The goods and the delivery must then be paid for.

However, this does not mean that you generally cannot buy our products. They just simply cannot do this automatically through the website. You always have the option of contacting us directly by email: info@direkt-elektroheizung.de and we will process your order manually. Please fill out all fields carefully and check the data entered! If you enter the wrong name or address, the package may be lost or sent back to our company, which means at least additional shipping costs. So that we can process your order quickly and precisely, take the time to check the data you have entered.


After you have filled in all the data fields, click the "Next" button:

This will take you to the next step, in which you can enter a different delivery address (if necessary, of course), select a payment method, enter the discount voucher number (if available) and once again check the goods ordered, their quantity and total amount:

We will not describe the payment methods via Klarna and PayPal because they are intuitive. All you have to do is choose one of them and agree to our rules by checking the box:

Now click on the button "Continue to PayPal" (or to Klarna) and follow the instructions on the screen. If you use PayPal or Klarna, the money transfer is almost instant and all orders placed before 12 noon are dispatched the same day (except Monday and every first working day after the holidays). Orders placed after 12 noon will be dispatched the next working day (except Friday and every last working day before public holidays).



We will describe the "bank transfer" payment method in more detail.

Here, too, you have to agree to our rules by ticking the box. Next, save our company's bank details in order to be able to transfer the money. Now click on the button "Place Order":

Attention! In the last step you will see the resulting information and the order number:

It is very important to keep the order number and use it as a reference. It is also duplicated in the order confirmation e-mail and should be specified with the transfer so that our employees can recognize your transfer quickly and send the order immediately.

Now all you have to do is make the transfer (as you normally do). As soon as the payment for the order has been received on our bank account (1 - 3 days in Germany, up to a week in Europe), your package will be sent to the address you provided. Our system will then send you an email confirming the shipment within one day. From an order value of € 20.00 and a weight of more than 500 g you will also find the package number in the dispatch message. You can use this number to track the delivery. For example, on the DHL website, you can paste the shipment number into the “Track shipment” field and click the “Search” button. If you entered the number correctly, the site will display the current delivery status. It works in a similar way for other companies.
